I wake thinking of those who’ve been deported, families ripped apart, and the 250 k government employees who’ve been laid off. If a foreign power had done this level of damage to Americans—and yes harming our neighbors damages Americans whether or not they are citizens—we would be up in arms.
Here’s the rub: war is no longer a solution. Most of those in this nation who love all people and want the best for everyone know that violence solves nothing.
Yet all the systems of government supposed to allow we the people to be heard and make change seem damaged beyond repair. So then: What’s a revolution to look like?
I nod in thanks to Gandhi and the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., light-filled revolutionaries who’ve shown us the way.
Many have died peacefully protesting through the centuries, so it’s an act that requires courage as soldiers must find, depending on the situation.
I’m tired. I tend to turn towards our horrific national politics when my pivoting muscles are weary from a week of it. Because we cannot function without rising above the miasma daily, without turning our frustration toward energetic progress towards the good.
But then I think of real soldiers, like in Ukraine, and know my fatigue bears no comparison.
So I inhale, exhale, and find it.
I check in with my body. She says: I don’t want to have to do anything for one god damn second!
I’m not sure I’ve heard my body swear before.
I turn down the brightness on my computer, assume lotus position in the chair, pull my tea closer. All right, then, body dear, what would you like to say?
I’m just so tired. I just want to curl up and (she dreams). I see a clear lake with mountains in the west like in King Arthur’s times. A Loch Ness monster may dwell beneath the surface. She dreams happily on.
You can stay resting, I tell her. Hmmmm, she says.
I remove all pressure to write anything of value.
It’s been hard. It’s been hard for everyone. I think of my spiritual teacher, Matt Kahn, now happily wed and making videos and teaching with his brilliant wife, Joy. I’m so happy for them. But the other day, when I received their energy update email, I snarled inside at them. Why don’t they even mention this mass catastrophe we’re going through together?
And I know—don’t tell me about A Course in Miracles, about my own preaching that the best way to combat evil is energetic progress toward the good. I know all that.
Their work is the pivot; it is the world we wish to see.
So how come I snarl when they don’t even mention the war on America from within? That in the name of making our nation great again, the architects of Project 2025 are destroying all the United States of America ever stood for at least in terms of humanism. It’s like they’ve decided our nation was about the conquest of the land and indigenous people by whites instead about the noble, brave, and radical (for their time) principles the founding fathers wrote in the Declaration of Independence.
They seem ready to destroy it all for freedom for rich white dominant men at the expense of everyone else, at the expense of all life on Earth.
So I grow my strength, my own courage, my own pivot. And bless Matt and Joy Kahn, but at least for me it’s not been easy. It’s a daily grief to throw off, a nightly awakening to try to calm down from.
Nightmares are never easy. We will overcome, even if we don’t live to see it.
We will create a world where all the systems we build coordinate for the good of all life rather than the profit of the few.
This shall come to pass. And when it does, we will have created Heaven on Earth, the 5th dimension*. And I can’t wait to see it. Where every child is precious, where their gifts are nurtured to a level of divine humanity beyond our current understanding.
Where Nature and humans work together in conscious partnership. Where sexuality, money, power, skills—are all responsibly nurtured and harnessed in service for the good of all.
How do we overthrow those with the superiority complex, their narrow pursed lips and mean hearts, their uncountable piles of gold? Do we develop telepathy and move in unison, a tidal wave of We the People that’s unstoppable?
I don’t know, friends.
But we will find a way.
My friend, the spiritual healer Trise Ruskay, told me once that water is like feminine power—it’s soft and nurtures all life. AND it flows around all obstacles. It carved the Grand Canyon.

The forces of domination lack the sacred balance between the masculine and the feminine. They lack the rising power of the divine feminine entirely.
Might we win with softness? Could flow be as powerful an instrument of divine light as the sword? The pen as mighty as Excalibur? Love your enemy, the great ones teach.
All I know for sure is that a mighty harmony rises from within us all. It asks us to adore our bodies and our minds, our hearts and our souls, our neighbors and our nation. It calls to us in the undulating sacred lovemaking between the divine masculine and feminine within us.
A dance of creation that formed the world.
We will rise to forge the world we wish to see. Together.
Forever and ever, Amen.
AI Overview May 19, 2025: *In simple terms, the 5th dimension is often described as a higher state of consciousness, a realm of pure potential and heightened vibration. It’s not a physical space in the way we understand the 3 dimensions of length, width, and height, but rather a dimension of awareness and experience. Think of it as a bridge between our current reality and a higher level of spiritual awareness, where the concept of time and linear progression is less relevant.
